Today the 2010-11 ABC Heywire competition winners -- 33 young people from regional, rural and remote Australia -- have released a report outlining project proposals that they believe would improve the lives of young people living outside the big cities.
Formulated at the Heywire Forum in Canberra this February, the recommendations tackle issues such as mental health, education, overcoming homophobia and the survival of small towns.
Details of the report can be found on the Heywire website: abc.net.au/heywire . Or you can download the full report here: http://www.abc.net.au/reslib/201105/r759986_6377632.pdf
